Supporting Members

By becoming a "supporting member" of the European Network of Policewomen you and/or your organisation will make a contribution towards the realisation of its aims.

What are supporting members:
Being a supporting member is one way in which you or your organisation will become involved in the European Network Of Policewomen. Supporting members can be individuals, organisations and institutions from within and from outside the police organisation, who agree with the objectives of the European network. One of the methods of support is a financial contribution.

Why becoming a "supporting member"
You or your organisation will be kept informed about all developments regarding the position of policewomen in Europe. Furthermore our organisation decided to implement also the issue Diversity into our programme.

Your annual contribution entitles you to a subscription to the ENP quarterly NEWSletter. You will also receive a copy of all ENP-Publications, such as Facts & Figures, researches etc. You will have the right to copy articles from the NEWSletter free of charge and are eligible for special rates for activities. Your name or that of your organisation will be included in the NEWSleteer if you wish.

What is expected of "supporting members"
The supporting member should endorse the objective of our organisation and contribute to its realisation in so far as they are able. This can imply, for example, the exchange of information about women within the police , diversity issues or offering facilities to our Network. The annual contribution of supporting members differ according to their financial means and vary from Euro 250. to Euro 4.500, but of course higher amounts of contribution are very much appreciated.

Application
The application is valid for the duration of the calendar year. Your "support" will automatically be renewed, unless you notify the ENP Head Office before 1st September about your cancellation. You can apply by completing the application form and to send it, preferably by fax, to the head office of the European Network of Policewomen fax nr.: +31 33 465 40 83

LSOP - The Netherlands
National Police Selection and Training Institute This organisation is rendering to Dutch Police forces in the areas of recruitment, selection, consultancy and training. It provides services to the management of Dutch police services in support of their efforts to maintain and improve standards of police services. The LSOP together with LECD (National Expertise Centre Diversity) IPO (International Police Education) and the police force Rotterdam Rijnmond in co-operation with the ENP are responsible for the organisation of the Career Development Seminars.

Nederlandse Politie Bond - The Netherlands This is the largest Dutch Police Union. It's separate women's secretariat has done a lot of work during recent years to improve the positions of women in the police.

Regional Police IJsselland - The Netherlands
This is one of twenty six regional police services in The Netherlands. The region IJsselland is situated in the eastern part of the country with approx. 950 employees.

Regional Police Midden en West Brabant
One of the Southern polices forces in The Netherlands, which surrounds the city of Tilburg with approx. 2,300 employees.

Regional Police Noord Holland - The Netherlands
The police service for the North-Western part of The Netherlands, with approx. 1,200 employees.

This police forces has approx. 1,200 employees and is one of the 26 regional polices services in The Netherlands.

The Northern Irish Police force with headquarters in Belfast with approx. 12,772 employees.

UNISON - London - United Kingdom
Unison is a public sector trade union representing 1.4 million members, including 20,000 police staff.

West Mercia Police - England
One of the English police forces which amongst others aims at developing and enhancing managing diversity issues for policewomen.

West Midlands Police - England
The English police force which surrounds the city of Birmingham and in which more than 10,500 employees are working.
