The role and responsibility of country contact persons of the European Network of Police-women is mainly to be a communication channel between the ENP headquarters and the networkers in the country in which the country contact person lives and works. Her or his name and address will be published in ENP publications such as the NEWSletter and the annual report in order to enable networkers to get into contact with someone from their country to obtain more information about ENP=s activities. ENP country contact persons can also be approached by the ENP headquarters with special requests concerning their country, for instance when questionnaires about their country have to be filled in.
Beside that ENP country contact persons can be involved in more specific tasks, of which you find some examples below. Of course it is recognized that the scope and depth of these activities depend on the situation in each separate country.
